Weobley Cross Cottage - Access Statement - Updated October 2015

We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors to our home based, two bedroom bed and breakfast. However, please note that this is a cottage and, as such, there are certain inherent limitations. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to help.

Pre-Arrival - We have a web site –

Details of our location and directions can be found on our website. Please telephone for information if you do not have access to the web.  01684 541488. The main train station is 4 miles away in Great Malvern from where you will be able to order a taxi.  There is no bus service to our property. You can contact us by email through the web site or by telephone.

Arrival and Car Parking - On arrival at the property, there is a gravel driveway which will accommodate 2 cars side by side. There are no marked parking bays. Access to the property is through a single gate, 93cm fully open. The surface is level, flat and gravelled, however, there is a paved footpath to the entrance, this slopes slightly. We can assist guests with luggage. Please note that we are quite isolated.  The nearest village with amenities is three miles away.

Main Entrance and Reception/ Public Area – General (Internal) - The B&B entrance door has an inclined approach with small bumps.  There is a fixed ramp on the inner side.  (Please let us know in advance of arrival if you require this.) You will be greeted on your arrival and provided with a key for entry during your stay. The main entrance and the inner entrance doors are 78 cm wide.  However, access to the hallway can be arranged through the wider conservatory and kitchen doors. The main entrance measures 180cm wide by 106 cm long. The inner hallway measures 168cm wide by 320cm long. There is oak flooring throughout the entrance,  hallway and conservatory. Both bedrooms and the Conservatory (breakfast room) are situated on the ground floor and are accessed through the hallway and main entrance. The entrance and hallway have good colour contrast and are well lit.

Public Areas – WC - Bedrooms are en-suite but no public WC is available.

Conservatory/Breakfast area - Breakfast is served in the Conservatory on the ground floor. There are no steps. Smaller items of furniture can be moved on request.
